Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address — to notify you when your prep is ready and to send your feedback report.
• Text extracted from your CV — we extract the text content from your uploaded document. We never store the original file.
• Job description text — the position description you provide.
• Employer research documents — text extracted from any documents, URLs, or videos you provide about the employer.
• Interview transcripts — your practice interview conversation.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How we process your data

Your documents are sent to an AI provider (either Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's GPT) for analysis. Both providers have the same policy for API customers: your data is never used to train AI models — this is a hard contractual commitment, not an opt-out setting. Like most API providers, both Anthropic and OpenAI retain request logs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, after which they are permanently deleted. This is separate from model training — your data is not used to improve any AI model.

We also use the Tavily Search API to research employer information from publicly available sources. Only the employer name and role title are sent to Tavily — never your personal information.

How long we keep your data

All data is automatically deleted after 30 days for anonymous users. If you create an account, your data is retained until you delete it or your account.

You can delete your data at any time by clicking the "Delete my data" button on your session dashboard. This permanently removes all your data from our database — CV text, interview transcripts, feedback reports, everything.

What we don't do

• We never use your data to train AI models, and neither does Anthropic (it's prohibited in their API terms).
• We never share your data with third parties (except Anthropic for AI processing and Stripe for payments — both under strict data agreements).
• We never store your original uploaded files — only extracted text.
• We don't use cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party scripts.
• We don't sell your data. Ever.

Security

• All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) in our database.
• All connections use HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
• Session URLs contain cryptographic tokens — no one can access your data without your unique link.
• We use Supabase for our database, which is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

Your rights

• Access — you can view all your data on your session dashboard.
• Deletion — click "Delete my data" on any session page for instant, permanent deletion.
• Portability — your feedback report can be downloaded as a PDF.
